Ar Ordirar_ce autnorizirg the paymer_t of the sum of N780.16 lam'
for a grader purchased from the Yost Auto Compary ar_d declaring
ar emergency.
Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Edmonds,Wash.
SECTIOI 1: That the expenditure of the sum of $780.16 be,
and the same is, hereby authorized to be paid to the Yost Auto
Compary to be applied or the purchase price of a street grader.
The said exper_,diture,hereby authorized, shall be paid by the
issuarce of ore or more emergercy Warrarts aggregating said a-
mour_t which shall be paid from monies or hard in the City
Treasury chargeable with the said expenditure, and the City
Treasurer is hereby authorized ar...d directed to pay such-Warrarts
out of ary such mor.,ies.
If there be irsuffieiert money or hard to pay any such
emergency Warrants, such Warrar_t or Warrants may be registered,
bear irterest ar.d be called it the same manner as other City
Warrants.
SECTIQ'� 2: That 'ar emergercy is hereby declared to exist
reason of the fact that the corditior of the graded Streets of
the City of Edmonds was such that the acquisition of a street
grader was necessary for the proper upkeep and mair_terarce of
said Streets, ard at the time of such acquisition the public emer-
gency was ore which could rot have beer: reasonably forseer_.at the
time of the making of the budget.

ar.d passed and approved on the twentieth day of May 1930.
