ORDIIJU CE NO. 502.
Ar Ordinance providirg for the creation of a new Furd of the
City of Edmonds to be kr_owr as the "City Street .Farad", and provid-
ing that all funds of said City for the corstructioL, alteration, ��
repair, improvement and maintenance of its Streets shall be de-
posited in and expended from such Fund, and declaring an emergency.
Be it ordaired by the City Council of the City of Edmonds:
SECTIQI: 1: That parsua-t to the provisiors of Sect? or.s 62 aLd
04 of Chapter 187, 1937 Session L awe of the State of Va: hingtor,
there is hereby created and established for the City of Edmonds a
rear fund, it the Treasury thereof, which fund. is hereby designated
"City Street Fund".
SECTIOI 2: That all claims against the Cat; of Edmoz.ls, for (,t
Street purposes, maturing prior to Llay 1, 1937, shall be paid out
of present funds in which moneys for :._ purpose have been budgeted
and deposited.
SECTIOL 3: That after the payment of all such claims for
Street purposes maturing prior to May 1, 1937, all moreys left re-
mairirg in the Current Expense Fund, or any other fund, in which Vt�
moreys for Street purposes have beer deposited be, and the same A
are, hereby transferred to Said "City Street Fund": and all r;ioneys"f" �yl
heretofore budgeted and levied for the construction, alteration,
repair, improvement and mainterance of the City Streets and credi
ted to either the Garrert Expense, or ary other furl, or ary moneys
hereafter budgeted or levied for -similar purposes, shall be when
received deposited in and expercled from said "City Street Fund".
SECTIOL 4: The goverrirg authorities of the City of Edmonds GCS
are authorized to expend funds from or register tiYarrazts against
or a
said"City Street Fund"ir. anticipation of reimbursement thereof from
funds credited or to be credited to the City of Edmonds iL the Zotor
Vehicle Fund of the State of Washirgtor.
SECTI01 5: An emergency is hereby declared to exlst and this
Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force ar_d effect five''
(5) days from and after the date of its publication.
