THE CITY Oouzcil—of�Ythe city of edmonds does ordair as follows;
SECTI01 1. That the office of chief deputy marshal of the City of
Edmords is hereby created. That the chief deputy marshal shall be
irvested with full police powers and be"ruder the direction of theChief
of Police -That the chief deputy marshal shall be a poirted by the
mayor and shall receive a salary in the sum of ter( 10.00) Dollars
per month. The bond of said chief deputy marshal shall be fixed at
Five hurdred ($500.00) Dollars and the premium therefore shall be paid
by the City.
SECTIO1, 11.That the offices of deputy marshals of the City, of
Edmords are hereby created. That the deputy marshals shall be irvested
with full police powers and be the direction of the chief deputy
marshal and chief of police, That the mayor may appoirt as many deputy
marshals as he shall deem recessary. The deputy marshals are to receive
ro salary from the City. Each deputy marshal shall furrish a bond of
Five hurdred ($500.00) Dollars the premium of which shall be paid by
the City. Passed by the Council this 21st day of February 1,939 and
approved as of the same date.
