Ah Ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and
assessment roll of Local Improvement District J:o. 48 , for the im—
provement of Fifth Street in the City of Edmonds mom Dayton Street
south a distance of 1375 feet, more or less, to the center line of
Howell Way and Walnut Street from fifth Street east 510 ,feet,
by the construction on Fifth Street of a ter inch corcre a sewer and
on Walnut Street of ar eight inch concrete sewer together with the
necessary manholes, catch basins and other appattenarces necessary to
make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution.
Eo. 102 of the City of Edmonds, levying an assessment on account
thereo against the several lots, tracts and parcels of land as
shown on said roll, providing for the issuance of bonds therefore and
fixing the date of the issuance thereof.

Section l: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local
Improvement District lo. 48 , for the improvement of Fifth Street
in the City of Edmonds from aytor Street south a distance of 1375
feet, more or less, to the center line of Howell Way and Walnut
Street from Fifth Street east 510 feet, by the construction ,Af
Fifth Street of a ten inch concrete sewer and or Walrut Street of
an eight inch concrete sewer together with the necessary manholes,

improvement, all in accordance with resolution Igo. 10.1 of the
City of Edmords, as the same now stands, be and the same is hereby
in all things approved and confirmed.
,Secti,or2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of lard
or other property tihown on said roll is hereby declared to be spec-
ially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged
against the same a,-d that the assessment appearing against the same
is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said
roll and there is here -by le-gied. an assessment against each lot,
tract and parcel of land and other property a:opearirg upon said
roll the amount f-_-& lly charged against the same thereon.
Section 3: That the lst day of rovember , 1939,
is hereby fixed as the cla�e oT—Fhe issuance of the bords required
to be issued on acc,6urt of said improvement.
Section 4: The City of Edmonds may sell said bonds and make
payment in cash in the manner provided by the ordinances of said
city.
