An Ordinance approving and confirming the assessment and assess-
ment roll of Local Improvement Distrivt No. 51, for the improve-
ment of the easterly Bide of Third.Street, in the City of Ldmonds,
by the construction of a 10 inch lateral sewer from the intersetion
of Third Street with the East and Wiest center line of Section 24,
Township 27 North-,3ange 3,, East WjK-, northeabyerly along said
Third Street for 950_feet more or less to a connection with the
North Trunk Sevier ; also for the improvement of the Easterly side
of Third Street, in said city, by the construction of an eight inch
lateral sewer beginning at the intersection of Third Street and the
North City Limits; thence Southwesterly along the Easterly aide of
Third Street for 585 feet more or less to a connection with the
North Trunk Sewer, also for the improvement of the Lastrely side of
Third Street, in said city, by the construction of concrete curbs
and gutters, together with the necessary drainage from the inter-
section of Third Street and Fourth Street, in said city; thence
Northeasterly for 1100 feet, more or less, to the North City Limits
of Edmonds, together with the necessary manholes, catch basins and
other appurtenances necessary to make a complete improvement, all
in accordance with Resolution Ro.104 of the City of Edmonds, levy-
ing an assessment on account thereof against the several lots,
tracts and parcels of land as shovm on said roll, providiAg for
the issuance of bonds therefor and fixing the date of the issuance
thereof.
THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN
SECTIONI. That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Impro-re-
ment District No.51 for the improvement of the Lasterly side of
Third Street, in said city, by the construction of a 10-inch
lateral sewer from the intersection of Third Street with the East
and hest center line of Section 24, Township 27 Nprth, Lange 3,
East W.M.,northeasterly along said Third Street for 950 feet more
or less to a connection with the North Trunk Sewer; also for the
improvement of the Easterly side of Third Street, in said city,
by the construction of an eight -inch lateral sewer beginning at the
intersection of Third Street and the North City Limits; thence
Southwesterly along the Easterly side of Third Stree for 585 feet
more or less to a connection with the Td.orth Trunk Sewer, also for
the improvement of the Easterly side of Third Street, in said city,
by the construction of concrete curb and gutters, together with the
necessary drainage from the intersection of Third Street and Fourth
Street, in said city; thence Northeasterly for 1100 feet, more or
less, to the North City Limits of Edmonds, together with the neces-
sary manholes, catch basins and other appertenances necessary to
make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution No.
104 of the City of Edmonds, as the same now stands, be and the same
is hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
SECTION 2. That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land or
other property shown on said roll is hereby declared to be specially
benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against
the same and that the assessment appearing against the same is in
proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll and
there is hereby levied an assesment against each lot, tract and
parcel of land and other property appearing upon said roll the
amount finally charged against the same thereon.
SECTION 3. That the 15th day of September, 1942. is hereby fixed
as the date of the issuance of the bonds required to be issued
on account of said improvement.

SECTION 4. The City of Edmonds may sell said bonds and make
payment in cash in the manner provided by the Ordinances of
said city.
