An Ordinance prohibiting minors under Sixteam (16) years of age
from being on the stireets, avenues, alleys., docks, or other public
pla®es, within the Clity of Ed:-aonds, during cert4in hours of the
night, and prescribing penalties ,for the violation thereof.

Section 1: It shall be and is hereby declared ur lawful for any
person of persons, male of female, under the age of Sixteen (16)
Years, to congregate, loiter, or sae upon the streets, avenues, alleys,
docks, or other pubiie places, within the limits of the Oity of
Edmonds, during the months of May, June, July, August or Septem-
ber, between the hours o.f ten o'clock P. 111. , and rive o' clohk
A. M., and during the remaining months of the year between the
hours of nine -thirty o'clock P. id., and five o'clock �L. i1. ,
unless such person or personsf shall be accompanied by his, her
or their parent, guardian or other person ha,ving._the legal custody
of such minor, or some other member of the family over tvienty-
ore years of age, providing that this Ordinance shall not apply
to such person or persons who are required to be in or upon such
public place by reason of actual employment.
Section 2: The ui.rne herein referred to shall mean United Mates
Pacific War Time.
Section 5: Any person violating any of the provisions of this
Ordinance, or any parent, guardian or other person having the
legal custody or care of such minor person or persons, described
in Section 1 of this Ordinance, , and viho shall permit or suffer
such minds person or persons to go or be in or upon any of the
streets or other public places, as aforesaid, within the times
mentioned in .Section 1 hereof, except as therein provided, shall
be deemed, guilty _of a misdeameanor, and upon conviction thereof
shall be fined in -any sum not exceeding nifty ( 50.00) Dollars
or be confined in the City Jail for a period not exceedirg ten
(10) days or shall be punished by both such fine or imprisonment.
