TdOCi;' TTTLi�E ''0��, THE CITE 0�' EDjdoiTI)a iiOES O�DAIT�: Section 1: That the alley in Blocks 77 and 68, Plat of the City of Edmonds, from a point r27 feet rest of Ninth Street to a point 270 feet East of Ninth Street in said City by the con- struction of a six-inch lateral sanitary and storm sewer, to- gether with the necessary drainage, man holes, catch basins, and other ap-purtenances necessary to make a complete improvement. Section 2: That one-half of the costs and expenses of such improvement shall be charged against and paid out of the General Fund of the City of Ldmonds, and the remaining one- half of the costs and expenses of such improvement shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the " sessment District herein created in accordance with�_law. Section 3: That there is hereby established a Local Improve- ment District to be called Local Improvement District Tdo. 56 which District shall include the following described property, to wit: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 68, of the 2la6 of the City of Edmonds; thence East along the North lire of Lots 1 to 9, inclusive, for a distance of 270 feet; thence South along the East line of Lots 9 and ; 2 of said Block 68, for a distance of 235 feet; thence ,`lest along the South line of Lots 32 to 40, inclusive, of said Block 68, for a distance of 270 feet; thence North along the 'Jest line of lot 40 and lot 1 a distance of 235 feet to the point of beginning, being Lots 1 to 91 inclusive, and Lots 2 to 40, inclusive, in Block 68 in said flat of the City of Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington. Section 4: S special fund is hereby created to be called Local Improvement District Fund Tdo. 56, which shall consist in the aggregate of the several amounts assessed, levied and collected on the several lots and parcels of land in said Local Improve- ment District and the proceeds of the sale of the bonds of the said District for the purpose of defraying the one-half of the costs and expenses of such improvement chargeable to the prop- erty in said District. Out of said fund shall be paid the bonds, the interest thereon and one-half of the entire cost of such improvement. Section 5: One-half of the costs and expenses of such impro- vement shall be dBfrayed by special assessments payable in ten equal annual installments with interest thereon at the rate of five per cent (5%) per annum under the mode of payment by bonds as provided by lgw and the Ordinances of said City.
