Ln Ordinance providing for the issuance of emergency warrz-nts
in payment of additional salaries necesz arily incurred in the
Police Department of the City of Edmonds and declaring an
emergency.
Be it ordained by he �,ity Council of the City of Edmonds:
Section 1: That t e City of. Edmonds issue emergency warrants
in the amount of a700.00 being the estimated expenditurerequired to
meet the cost of aa.. itional salaries neces:.arily incurred in the
Police Department -f the City of Edmonds for the remainder of the
year 1946.
Section 2: An emergnecy is hereby declared to exist, with reference
to said expense:.- , which could not reasonahly,;,,have been foreseen
at the time of =ing the last annual budget.
Section 3: This--.,dinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect upon it passage and publication as provided by law.
