Ln Ordinance amending Section 6 of Ordinance No. 412 as amended
by Section 1 of Ordinance No. 543 of the City of Edmonds relating
to tapping fees for the installation of Water servic"e by the Water
Department of said City.
The City of Edmonds does Ordain:
Section 1: That Section 6 of Ordinance No. 412, as amended by
Section 1, of Ordinance No. 543 of the City. of Edmonds, be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 6: No service connections less than three -
fourths (3/4) inch in sixe shall be installed.
Tapping fees for the installation of water
service, s.s hereinbefore provided, within the city
limits of the city of Edmonds shall a e as follows:.
For a three -fourths (3/4) inch connection------440.00
For a one inch connection---------------------- 60.00
For sixes larger than one (1) inch, or where it
becomes necessary to instill service pipe under paving,
the actual cost of labor and material used in laying
such a service and repi acin,- the-navenert shall be

charged.
For the installation of water service outside of the
city limits of the City of Edmonds the actual cost of
labor and material used in laying such a service and re-
placing the pavement shall be charged, but in no event
shall such service be less than $100.00
Tapping fees shall be paid in advance and in cases where
the cost is not known the applicant shall pay the es-
timated cost and the proper adjustment shall be made
after the actual cost is known to the Superintendent.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall take effect and be ir_ full
force and effect upon its passage and publication as provided
by law.
