An Ordinanca providing for the issuance of emergency warrants
in payment of additional salaries necessarily incurred in the
Police Department and Street Department of the City of Edmonds
and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF ED2101,11DS DOES ORDAIF:
Section 1: That the City of Edmonds issue emergency warrants
in the amount of $600,00 on the Current Expense Fund, being the
estimated amount required to meet the cost of additional salaries
necessarily incurred in the Police Department of the City of Edmonds
for the remainder of the year 1947.
Section 2: That the City of Edmonds issue emergency warrants
in the amount of $1600.00 on the Street olund, being the estimated
amount required to meet the cost of additional labor necessarily
incurred in the Street Department, and not budgeted, of the City
of Edmonds for the remainder of the year 1947.
Section 3: An emergency is hereby declared to exist with
reference to said expenses, which could not necessarily have been
forseen at the time of making the annual budget.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect upon its passage and publication as provided by law.
