An Ordinance regulating the location of gasoline pumps and
further regulating sidewalk crossings from and to automobile
service stations in the City of Edmonds.
The City of Edwrda -does ordain:
Section 1: Prom and after the date of passage.of this Ordinance
rot more than Two (2) sidewalk crossings leading from and to auto-
mobile service stations of not to exceed Thirty (30) feet in width
shall be permitted in the City of Edmond.
Section 2: All applications for automobile service station side-
walk crossings and for the right to construct the same shall be
made, in writing to the City Council of the City of Edmonds, and
if such application be granted the cost of the construction of
said sidewalk crossings shall be at the expense of the property
owners and the work done shall Le under the supervision of the
City Engineer of the City of Edmonds.
Section 3: No gasoline pump shall hereafter be installed et any
automobile service station within the City of Edmonds closer. then
Ten (10) feet' from any abutting city street.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full farce
and effect upon its passage and publication as provided by law.
