AN ORDINANCE relating to the operation of motor vehicles over and upon
the City Streets of the City of Edmonds and pursuant to Rem. Rev. Stat.,
Sec. 9199-1, as amended by the Laws of 1943, Chapter 213, section 1,
adopts by reference the Motor Vehicle Laws or State Traffic Code of the
State of Washington and all amendments thereto made and to be made by the
State Legislature, and providing that three copies of the said code will
be on file with the City Clerk.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: That they, the said City Council, pursuant to Rem. Rev.
Stat. Sec. 9199-1, as amended by the Laws of 1943, Chapter 213, section 1,
do hereby adopt by reference the Motor Vehicle Laws or State Traffic Code
of the State of Washington.
Section. 2. That any violation thereof shall be a misdemeanor and shall
e punishable by not more than $300,00 fine or 90 days in the City jail
or both such fine and jail sentence.
Section 3; That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
