AN ORDINANCE relating to the discharge of firearms, Cannons, pistols
revolvers, rifles, shotguns, or any other type of firearms, amending
Ordinance No. 25, Division 111, Section 1 thereof, and providing for
a maximum penalty for violation thereof.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: That Ordinance Number 23, Division III, Section 1, passed
June 21, lb92, relating to the discharge of firearms within the city limits
of the City of Edmonds, shall be amended as follows:
Section 2; That is.shall be unlawful to discharge any type of
cannon, pistol, revolver, rifle, shotgun, or any other type of firearm
within the city limits of the City of Edmonds, except and unless it shall
be done by a duly constituted Police Officer or other authorized person
acting in the line of duty.
Section 3; That said unlawful discharge of any type of firearm shall
constitute a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, any person so
convicted shall be punished by a fine of not more than $300.00, or a
sentence of 90 days in the City Jail:, or by both such fine and sentence.
