Ordinance 590ORDINANCE NO. 590. An Ordinance annexing certain real property to the City of Edmonds, under the provisions of the Laws of 1945, Chapter 128, P. P. C. Sections 384-31 through 3814-141, and complying with the procedure therein set forth. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMOIITI S DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That a petition in sriting, signed by nore than seventy- five per -cent (75 � in value, according to the assessed valuation of the real property described in said petition; that the said petition set forth a legal description of the said real property; that the said petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed. Section 2: That ,August 2, 19149, was set as a date for a public hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been published in the Edmonds Tribune Review, a newspaper of general circulation in the City -L of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in three (3) public places within the territory proposed for annexation; that said notices specified the time and place of such hearings and invited interested persons ``c- to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; that the expense of p#lication and posting of said notices was borne by the signers of the petition. Section 3: That the following described property located in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to wit: The S 3142 ft. of Gov't Lot 1, Sec. 2�4, Twp 27N, R3 EWM, Less the E 660 ft. thereof, and Less the GNRR Right of "lay, according to the unrecorded plat thereof; and the tract owned by George and Juanita Yost described as follows: Beginning at the point 660 ft. :V of the SE corner of Govtt Lot 1, Sec. 214, Twp 271T, 1113 Z4''M, thence N 0 degrees and 031E 330 ft, th the NE corner of a tract deeded to L. E. Hubbard and Frank B. Taskett and Mary Taskett, his wife, by Flore nce Hanna Hamilton, the true point of Beginning of this description; thence continuing Pd 0 degrees and 03' E 37 ft. to the SE corner of a tract owed by Eugene Grosbeck, under deed recorded under auditorts file No. 657963, records of said county; thence N 62 degrees 221 17 2147.36 feet to an iron monument shown by said Eugene Grosbeck as his southwesterly corner; thence continuing N 62 degrees and 22' V;I 5.97 ft. to the easterly 1 margin of the GNRH Right of Way; thence along said margin S 29 degrees and 41, W 160.20 ft. to the NT corner of a tract owned by Cecil W. Ridenour and Vina L. Ridenour, his rife; thence along the N line of said Ridenour tract, S 89 degrees and 20 t east 203.58 ft.; thence south 0 degrees and 03' W 12 ft.; thence S 89 degrees and 201 E 100 ft. to the point of beginning; TOGETHER with easements for right of way over W 16 ft. of S 330 ft. of the E 66o ft. of Gov't Lot 1 of said Sec. 214; TOGETHER with easement for road over W 20ft. of E 780 ft. of the S 342 ft. of CovIt Lot 1, Sec. 23, twp 27 N R3 h=; L.Kxcept south 30 ft. thereof for road. be, and it hereby is annexed to the City of Edmonds effective the 16th day of August, 449.
