ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL "ROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE i.AWS OF 1945 CHAPTER
123 RCW SECTIONS 35. 13. 130, 35. 13,140 and 35. 13. 150, AND COMPLYING
WITH THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section l: - That there has been filed with the City Council a
petition in writing signed by the owners of more than seventy-five percent
(75)6) of the assessed value of the said property according to the assessed
valuation of the real property described in said petition; that the said petition
sets forth a legal description of the said real property. that the said petition
was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the boundaries of Uie property
sought to be annexed.
Section 2: - That Tuosda;, February 1st, was set as a date
for a public hearing on said petition; that noti^e of such hearing has been pub-
lished in the Edmonds Tr.bune-Review, a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in three
(3) public places within the territory proposed for annexation; that said notices
specified the time and place of such hearing and invited interested persons to
appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; that the expense
of publication and posting of said notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section 3: - That the following described property located in the
County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to wit:
• All of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter
(SE 1/4 SE 1/4) of Section 24, Township 27 North,
Range 3 East, W. M. , less The Southwest 0. 12 acres
thereof, and all of that portion of thv Southeast Quarter
of the Northwest Quarter (SE 1/4 NW 1/4) of Section 25,
Township 27 North, Range ;i East, W. M. , lying con-
tiguous to the City of Edmonds, and described as fol-
lows:
Beginning at ti.e Southwest corner of Lot 3, 131ock
U, Plat of Yost's First Addition to Edmonds, as recorded

in Vol, 8 of Plats at Page 6, records of Snohomish
County, Washington; thence East 310 feet to the
Southeast corner of Lot 8, Block 10 of aforesaid
plat; thence South 252. 01 feet to the margin of the
County road; thence West along said margin 310
feet; thence North 251. 53 feet to the point of
beginning;
• be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City o: Edmonds, effective the
1st day of February, 1955.
