AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND
ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 74, for the
. improvement of Block 2, the south one-half of Block 3, the north one-half of
Block 5, the west one-half of the south one-half of Block 5, the south one-half
of Block 7, the west half of the north one-half of Block 7, the north 116 feet of
vacated Block 4, and the south one-half of vacated Blocks 9 and 10, all in the
Kellogg Plat to Edmonds as recorded in' olume 2, page 42 of I-1ats, records
of Snohomish County, Washington; also Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8, and
Lots I and 10 of Blocks 9, 10, 11 and 12, all in the plat of Yost's First Addition
to Edmonds as recorded in Volume 8, page 6 of flats, records of Snohomish
County, Washington; also Block 2, and Lots 11 throug' 16 of Block 1, plat of
City Park Addition to Edmonds as recorded in Volume 9, nage 10 of Plats,
records of Snohomish County, Washington; also tiie unplatted property within
Lhe NE 1/4 NE 1/4 of Section 26, Township 27 North , Range 3 East, W. M. ,
described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the south margin of
Howell Way and the west margin of Fifth Avenue, thence South 264 feet more or
less to the north boundary of Block 2, City Park Addition; thence West 260 feet ,
more or less to Fourth Avenue; thence North 264 feet to Howell 1.4fay; thence
East 260 feet, more or less to the point of beginning. Also, beginning at a
point on the north margin of Howell Way, 131 feet distant from the East margin
of Third Avenue; thence East 207 feet; thence North 80 feet; thence West 207
• feet; thence South 80 feet to the point of beginning; also all of the NW 1/4
NW 1/4 of Section 25, Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W. M. , EXCEPT
the Replat of Homeland Addition, and EXCEPT the North 30 feet of the East
255 feet of aforesaid NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, and EXCEPT tare South 120 feet

Section 25; all W thin the Corl-rate Limits of the City of Edmonds, levying
an assessment o- account thereof against the several lots, tracts and parcels
of land as shown on said Roll; providing for the issuance of the Bonds therefor
and fixing the date of the issuance thereof.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Sec in 1. That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement
District No 74 for the improvement of the following described propert;
Block 2, the south one-half of Biock 3, the north oae-half of Elock 5,
the west one-half of the south one-half of Block 5, the south one-half
of Block 7, the west half of the north one-half of Block 7, the north
116 feet of vacated Block 4, and the south one-half of vacated Blocks `d
and 10, all in the Kellogg Plat to Edmonds as .•ecorded in Vol .me z,
page 42 of Plats, ecords of Snohomish County, Washington; also Block
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and b, and Lots 1 and 10 of Blocks 9, 10, 11 and 12,
all in the plat of Yost's First Addition to Edmonds as recorded in Volume
b, page 6 of Plats, eeco.•ds of Snohomish County, Washington; also Block
2, and Lots 11 through 16 of Block 1, plat of City Park Addition to
Edmonds as eecorded in Volume :i, page 10 of Plats, records of Snohomish
County, Washington; also the unplatted property within the NE 1/4 NE 1/4
of Section 26, Township 27 NoAh, Range 3 East, W. M. , described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the south margin of Howell Way and the

all of the NW 1/4 NW 1/4 of Section 25, Township 2'1 North, Range 3 East,
W. M. , EXCEPT the Replat of Homeland Addition, and EXCEPT the
North 30 feet of the East 255 feet of aforesaid NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, and
except the South 120 feet of the North 150 feel of the East 120 feet of
aforesaid NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4, Section 25; all within the Corporate
Lkmits of the City of Edmonds,
. by the construction of a trunk and lateral sanitary sewer system and other ap-
pui•tenances necessary to make a complete improvement; all in accordance
with Resolution of Intention No. 120 and Ordinance No. 653, as the same :iow
stands, be and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
Section 2 That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land, or other
property shown on said Roil, is hereby declared to be specially benefited by

said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that
the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several
assessments appearing upon said Roll, and there is hereby levied an assign-

ment against each lot, tract and pa. cel ,f land and other property appearing
upon said Roll in the amount finally charged against the same thereon.
Section 3. That the .� qday of 1955,
is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the Bonds required t,) be issued on
account of said improvement.
