AN ORDIP ANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
EDMOND3, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945 CHAPTER
126 RCV, SECTIONS 35. 13. 130, 35. 13. 140 and 35. 13. 150, AND COMPLYING
WI1 H THE PROCEDURE THEREI N SET FORTH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: That there has been filed with the City Council a
b^t; in writing signed by the owners of more than seventy-five percent
(75%) of the assessed value of the said property according to the assessed
valuation of the real property described in said petition; that 'he said peti-
tion sets forth a legal description of the said real property; that the said
petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the boundaries of
the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2: That Tuesday, August 2nd, 1955, was set as a date
for a public hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been
published in the Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general ircula-
!ion in the City of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in
three (3) public places within the territory proposed for annexation; that said
notices specified the time and place of such hearing and invited interested
persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; that
the e).pense of publication and posting of said notices was born by the signers
. of the petition.
Section 3. That the following described property located in the
County of Snohomish, State of Washington, to wit:
Tract Nine (9), Block Five (5) Plat of Alderwood
Manor N9, according to the records of Snohomish
County, Washington, EXCEPT the east 137. 75
feet thereof,

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Edmonds, effective the 2nd
day of August, 1955.
