ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945 CHAPTER
128 RCW SECTIONS 35.13. 130, 35. 13. 140 and 35.13. 150, AND COMPLYING
WITH THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF E DMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: - That there has been filed with the Cite Council a
petition in writing signed by the owners of more than sevent y -five percent
(75°x) of the assessed value of the said property according to the assessed
valuation of the real property described in said petition; that the said petition
sets forth a legal description of the said real property; t hat the said petition
was accompanied by a plat or dr awi ng outlining the boundaries of the property
sought to be annexed.
Section 2: - That Tuesday, September 20th, was set as a date for
a public nearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been pub -
lisped in the Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in three
(3) public places within the territory proposed for annexation ; that said notices
specified the time and place of such hearing and invited interested persons to
appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; that the expense
of publication and posting of said notices was born by the signers of the
petition.
• Section 3: - That the following described property located in the
County of Snohomish, State of WasAngton, to wit:
All of the plat of Albert B. Lord's Grand View
Addition to tiie Town of Edmonds, according to the
plat thereof recorded in Volume 7 of Plats, page
45, records of Snohomish County, Washington;
together with the following:
That portion of t he Northwest Quarter of the
Northeast Quarter (NW 1/4 NE 1/4) of Section 25,
Towns::ip 27 North, Range .s East, W. M. described
as follows: Begi nning at a point 480 feet east of

the Northwest corner of said Northwest
Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NW 1/4
NE 1/4); thence East 200 feet; thence South
100 feet; thence West 80 feet; thence South
248 feet; thence West 1 "0 feet; thence North
348 feet to point of beginning;
• be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Edmonds, effective the 20th
day of September, 1955.
