EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO, 67:3
AN ORDINANCE, providi ng for the payment of the sum of
$15uu. U0, for completion of the remodeling of the Edmonds City Hall, pro-
viding for the issuance of an emergency warrant or warrants in payment tnere-
of, and declaring an emergencv.
• WHEREAS, at the time the present annual budget for the City of
Edmonds was passeu, the estimated cost of remodeling the Edmonds City Hall
was included in the said budget, and
WHEREAS, as the work of remodeling proceeded, it nas become ap-
parent that in order to finish the ,,ob, additional funds will be :seeded, and
WHEREAS, tite City of Edmonds could not reasonably foresee that
additional expenditures would be necessary at Lie time +.ie cost of remodeling
was estimated, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary , hat an additional sum of $1500. OU be
appropriated for such remodeling, and
WHEREAS, there are no funds budgeted to pay for such a project, and
WHER AS, it is desired to pay said sum rack over a two year period
in 1957 and 1958,
NOW, THEREFOR7., THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS
IBES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the City of Edmonds shall pay, to complete the
remodeling of the Edmonds City Hall, the sum of $1500. OU, and the City
Treasurer is hereby directed to issue an emergency warrant or warrants totaling
. that amount to pay ,or the same from any funds available.
Section 2. An emergence is hereby declared to exist with regard to
the completion of the remodeling to the said Edmonds City Hall as there are
no funds badgeted to pay the cost of the same.
Section 3. That the funds to repay tie same shall be budgeted over a
two year period as follows: $750.Ou in 1957 and $750.Ou in 1958.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and
publication as required by law.
