AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF ED-
MONDS, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945, CHAPTER 128, R.
C. W., SECTIONS 35. 13. 140, 35. 13. 130 and 35. 13. 150, F !,D COMPLYING WITH
THE PROCEDURE 'THEREIN SET FORTH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAI N:
Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council a petition
• in writing signed by the owners of more than 75% of the assessed value of the
said property according to the assessed valuation of the real property described
in said petition; that the said petition sets forth a legal description of the said
property; that the said petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining
the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2. That __ (._: ,z ,r . _�, 1956, was set as
a date for a public hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been
published in the Edmonds Tr ibune-Review, a newspaper of general circulation
in the City of Edmonds; that not ice of such hearing was also posted in three (3)
public places within Cie property proposed for annexation; that said notices speci-
fied the time and place of such hearing and invited interested persons to appear
and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; that the expense of publica-
tion and posting of saidnotices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section 3. That the f oll owing described property, to be known as R. C.
Munger Plat No. 5, located in the County of Snohomish, State of Washington,
to -wit: (a) Lot 5, Block 7, Alderwood Manor No. 9, according to plat thereof
recorded in Vol. 10 of Flats, page 6, records of said county. EXCEPT
the east 118 feet of north 239 feet (as measured along east line).
(b) That portion of southeast quarter of southeast quarter of Section
24, Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W. M. , lyi ng southerly of
County Road No. 21 (Bowdoin Way).
