AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $4, UOO. 00
FROM THE SEWER SERVICE AND WATER REVENUE ACCOUNT
TO LABOR AND CAPITAL OUTLAY ACCOUNT WITHIN THE
WATER DEPARTMENT, STATING THE REASON FOR SUCH
TRANSFER, AND FINDING THAT IT IS IN THE BEST INTE-
RESTS OF THE MUNICI PALL i Y THAT SUCH TRANSFER BE
MADE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The City of Edmonds hereby autLiorizes the transfer of
the sum of $4, 000. 00 from the Sewer Service and Wat er Reveaue Account
to the Labor and Capital Outlay Account within the Water Department Budget,
and the City Treasurer is hereby authorized to make such transfer, if tiiis
ordinance is passed by a vote of one more than the majority of all members
of the Edmonds City Council.
Section 2. The reaso-i for such transfer of funds is the expansion
of the City Water Department and the installation of new water mains to
take care of the newly annexed areas ,Yhich were not foreseen at the time
the budget was set up.
Section 8. The City Council further finds that it is totbe best in-
terest of the City of Edmonds that such transfer be made.
Section -i. This Ordi aance mall take effect upon its passage by a
vote of one more than a majority of the members of the City Council, and
publication as -equired by law.
