ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF ED-
MONDS, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945, CHAPTER 128, R.
C. W. , Sections 35. 13. 130, 35. 13. 14 0 and 35. 13, 150, AND COMPLYING WITH
THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council a petition in
writing signed by the owners of more than 75% of the assessed value of the said
property according to the assessed valuation of the real property described in the
said petition; that the said petition sets forth a legal description of the said prop-
erty; that the said petition was accompnied by a plat or drawing outlining the
boundaries of the property soughttu be annexed.
Section 2. That �, ,� 1956, was set as
a date for a public hearing on said petition; twat noti ce of such hearing has been
published in the Edmonds Tribune -Review, a ne•.%spaper of general circulation in
the City of Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also i --ted in three (3) pub-
lic places within the property proposed f or annexation; that sai d noti ces speci-
fied the time and place of such hearing and invited interested persons to appear
and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; that the expense of publica-
tion and posting of said notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section 3. That the following described property, located in the County
of Snohomish, State of Washington, to -wit:
That portion of Govt. Lot 4, Sec. 13, Twp 27 N, R.3 EWM, described
as follows: Beginni ng at a point 588 ft W and 81. 4 f t N of the S quart er corner
of said Sec. 13; th N 258. 5 ft; th N 71048' W slong the N margin of the John Kannair
Tract and said line produced to the Inner Harbor line; thence SW'ly along said
Inner Harbor line to a point of i atersection with a line bearing N 71044' W from
the pt of beginning; th S 71044' E along the existing City Limits to the p. o. b.
be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Edmonds, effective the /.,'
day of - 1956.
