AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ASSESS-
MENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 78 FOR THE IMPROVE-
MENT OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY: CEDAR STREET EAST
OF NINTH AVENUE, BETWEEN BLOCK ONE AND THE NORTH HALF OF BLOCK
TWO, ALBERT B. LORD'S GRANDVIEW ADDITION, TOGETHER WITH THE
•UNPLATTED PROPERTY LYING EASTERLY THEREOF, MORE PARTICULARLY
DESrRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT A POINT 480 FEET EAST OF THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 25, TOWNSHIP
27 NORTH, RANGE 3 EAST, W. M.; THENCE EAST 200 FEET; THENCE SOUTH
245 FEET; THENCE WEST 200 FEET: THENCE NORTH 245 FEET TO THE POINT
OF BEGINNING, SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WASHINGTON, BY THE INSTALLATION
OF AN EIGHT INCH LATERAL SANITARI SEWER, TOGETHER WITH THE NEC-
ESSARY MANHOLES, INLETS AND APPURTENANCES AND SUCH OTHER WORK
AS MAY BE NECESSARY TO MAKE A COMPLETE IMPROVEMENT; ALL IN
ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 126 AND ORDINANCE NO.
682 OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON; LEVYING AN ASSESSMENT ON
ACCOUNT THEREOF AGAINST THE SEVERAL LOTS, TRACTS AND PARCELS
OF LAND AS SHOWN ON SAID ROLL; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS
THEREFOR AND FIXING THE DATE OF THE ISSUANCE THEREOF.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improve-
ment District No. 78 for the improvement of the following described property:
Cedar Street between Block 1 and the North half of
Block 2 of Albert B. Lord's Grandview Addition,
together with the following described property located
easterly of the said Grandview Addition: Beginning at
a point 480 feet east of the Northwest corner of the
Northeast Quarter of Sect ion 25, Townst`ip 27 North,
Range 3 East, W. M. ; thence east 200 feet; thence south
245 feet ; thence west 200 feet; thence north 245 feet to
the point of beginning, Snohomish County, Washington,
by the construction of an eight inch lateral sanitary sewer toget her with the neces-
sary manholes, inlets an'. appurtenances, and such other work as may be necessary
to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution of Intention No.
• 126 and Ordinance No. 682 as the same now stands, be and t he same is hereby in
all things approved and confirmed.
Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts and parcel s of land, or other
property shown on said Roll, is hereby declared to be specifically benefitted by
said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the
assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments

appearing upon said Roll, and there is hereby levied an assessment against each
lot, tract and parcel of lat.] and other property appearing upon said Roll in the
amount finally charged against the same thereon,
• Section 3: That the _22nd day of April , 1957,
is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the Bonds required to be issued on
account of said improvement,
