AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF ED-
MONDS, WASHINGTON, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945,
CHAPTER 128 RCW SECTIONS 35. 13. 130, 35. 13. 140, and 35. 13. 150, AND
COMPLYING WITH THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH _
• THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been filed with tiie City Council a petit ion in writing
signed by ti:e owners of more than seventy-five per cent (75%) of the assessed value
of the said property according to tree assessed valuation of the real property
described in said oetition; that Lie said petition sets forth a legal description of
the said property; that the said petit ion was accompanied by a plat or drawing out-
lining tue boundaries of the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2. That Tuesday, December 17, 1957, was set as a date for a public
hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been published in the
Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general circulation in Lie City of Ed-
monds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in three (3) public places within
the territory proposed for annexation; that said notices specified the time and
place of such nearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval
or disapproval of tt:e annexation; that the expense of publication and posting of
said notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section :). That the following described property, located in the County of
Snohoinish, State of Washington, to -wit;
The north 145 feet of tract 14, less t.ie east 200 feet taereof; all of
trart 1.5, and tract 16 less the west 224 feet of the north 272 feet t eereof;
all in Fourtner's Homestead Plat , according to plat t hereof recorded
in volume 1 of plats, page 97, records of Snohomish County, Washing-
ton; TOGETHER with the portion of 220th Street and 96th Avenue West
adjacent thereto; situate in Snohomish County, Washington,
be and t :e same is hereby annexed to the City of Edmonds, effective the 'XW
