AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF
EDMONDS, UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945, CHAPTER 128,
R. C. W., SECTIONS 35.13. 130, 35.13. 140 and 35.13. 150, AND COMPLYING
WITH THE PROCEDURE THEREIN SET FORTH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
• Section 1. That there has ban filed with the City Council a petition in
writing signed by the owners ofmore than 75% of the assessed value of the said
property according to the assessed valuation of the real property described in
the said petition; that the said petition sets forth a legal description of the said
property; that the said petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining
the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2. That Tuesday, December 3, 1957, was set as a date for a public
hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing has been published in the
Edmonds Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Edmonds; that notice of such hearing was also posted in three (3) public places
within the property proposed for annexation; that said notices specified the time
and place of such hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice ap-
proval or disapproval of the annexation; that the expense of publication and posting
of such notices was born by the signers of the petition.
Section 3. That the following described property, located in the County
of Snohomish, State of Washington, to -wit:
That portion of Government Lot 3 and the Southwest quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 13, township 27 North, Range 3 East, W. M., described as follows:
Beginning at the south quarter corner of said section 13; thence north along
the west margin of 100th Ave. W. to an intersection with the northeasterly line of
• the plat of Wallace Tra cts produced northwesterly; thence southeasterly along said
northeasterly line of Wallace Tracts to an intersection with the centerline of Second
Avenue, plat of North Edmonds; thence north 38034' east along said centerline 310 feet
to the centerline of Lake Avenue; thence north 51026' west 290 feet; thence north 380
34' east 486.05 feet to the most easterly corner of the Martin Tract; thence north
51026' west 255 feet; thence west to the east margin of 100th Ave. W.; thence
northerly along the east margin of 100th Avenue W. to the north margin of 191st
St. S. W. (known as Cherry Street); thence East along the north line to an intersec-
tion with the east line of 96th Ave. W.; thence south along said east line and the
west line of Tracts 80 to 92, Plat of Edmonds Sea View Tracts, to the south line
of said section 13; thence West along said south line and the existing City limits
to thepoint of beginning.
