AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE LAWS OF 1945. CHAPTER 128, R. C. W. SECTIONS
35. 13. 130, 35. 13. 140 and 35. 13. 150, AND COMPLYING WITH THE PiIVEDURE THERE-
IN SET FORTH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there has been filed with the City Council a petition in
writing, signed by the owners of more than seventy-five (75%) per cent of the assessed
• value of the said property, according to the assessed valuation of the real property de-
scribed in said petition; that the said petition sets forth a legal description of the said
real property; that the said petition was accompanied by a plat or drawing outlining the
,oundaries of the property sought to be annexed.
Section 2. That Tuesday. January 6th, 1959, was set an a date for a
public hearing on said petition; that notice of such hearing was published in the Edmonds
Tribune -Review, a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Edmonds; that notice
of such hearing was also posted in three (3) public places within the territory proposed
for annexation; that said notices specified the time and place of such hearing and invited
interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation; that
the expense of publication and posting of said notices was borne by the signers of the
petition.
Section 3. That the following described property, located in the County
of Snohomish, State of Nashington, to -wit:
Block four (4), Seattle Heights Division No. 4, in Section 20,
township 27 north, range 4 east, W. M. , according to plat
thereof, records of Snohomish County, Washington, TOGETHER
WITH 74th Ave. W. , 76th Ave. W. , and 210th St. S. W. adjacent
thereto; situate in Snkomish County, State of Sashington
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Edmonds, effective the 20th day of
