AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF
THE CITY OF EDMONDS, MORE SPECIFICALLY OFFICIAL MAP ''A'(DESIGNATED
THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN) OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, PURSUANT TO RECOM -
MENDATIONS OF THE EDMONDS PLANNING COMMISSION, AND AUTHORILIN1 THE
ENGINEER TO EFFECT NECESSARY CHANGES
• WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, in accordance with
law and pursuant to the ordinances of said City, did on the 15th day of May, 1961, hold
a public hearing to determine the advisability of augmenting and amending the compre-
hensive plan of the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a forty -foot right of way between Pine and Laurel,
and between 10th and 11th Avenues in the City of Edmonds, was considered, and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a forty -foot right of way between 9th Ave. and pro-
posed Tenth Avenue in the City of Edmonds was considered, and
WHEREAS, after a full and complete hearing at which no objections to the proposed
rights of way were made, the Planning Commission of said City did by Resolution recom-
mend to the City Council of the City of Edmonds the establishment of the said rights-of-
way, an being in the best interest of said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES OR-
DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 42 of the Edmonds City Planning Commission, and
Engineer's Drawing No. _ �_three copies of which are attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by reference as though fully set forth herein, and three copies of which
are on file in the offic of the City Clerk, are hereby adopted, establishing a forth foot
right-of-way between Pine and Laurel and Between 10th Ave. and 11th Ave. in the City
*of Edmonds.
Section _2. That Resolution No. 49 of the Edmonds City Planning Commission, and
Engineer's Drawing No. , three copies of which are attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by reference as though fully set forth herein, and three copies of which
are on file in the office of the City Clerk, are hereby adopted, establ-shing a forty foot
right of way between 9th Ave. and proposed 10th Ave. in the City of Edmonds.
Section 3. That the Comprehensive plan for the City of Edmonds set forth in
Chapter 12.04, et eeq. , of the Edmonds City Code, and official Map 'A' of said City,
• be vnd the same are hereb.- amended to confor.—n with Engineer's Drawings, numbers
to incorporate therein the forty foot rights-of-way designated
in Sections 1 and 2 hereof.
Section 4. That the City Engineer of the City of Edmonds is hereby directed to
effect the necessary changes pursuant to this Ordinance.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication ac-
cording to law.
