AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, MORE SPECIFICALLY OFFICIAL MAP "B I'' (DESIGNATED
THE ZONING MAP) OF SAID CITY, TO INCORPORATE THE ZONING OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY RECENTLY ANNEXED TO THE SAID CITY, ADOPTING THE RECOMMENDA-
TIONS OF THE EDMONDS PLANNING COMMISSION FOR SUCH ZONING, AND AU`THOR-
ILING THE ENGINEER TO EFFECT NECESSARY CHANGES.
WHEREAS, on May 16, 1961, the City Council of the City of Edmonds passed Ordi-
nance No. 884 of said City, annexing certain real property to the City, and
• WHEREAS, such property is in need of zoning, and
• WIiEREAS, certain recommendations for such zoning have been made by the Planning
Commission of the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, the zoning of the property will require an amendment to the Zoning Map
of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds, Washington, and
WHEREAS, after a full and complete he^ring before the Planning Commis., an of the
City of Edmonds, said Planning Commission did by Resolution No, recommend
to the City Council of the City of Edmonds the zoning of the said property into use districts
designated R-8, as hereinafter set forth,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES OR-
DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the property to be zoned is described as follows:
Lot one (1), block one (1), PLAT OF PINE ACRES, according to plat thereof,
records of Snohomish County, situate in Snohomish County, State of Washington.
Section 2. That Resolution No. --_- of the Edmonds Planning Commission, and
Engineer's Drawing No, i- _ . , three copies of which are attached hereto and incor-
porated herein by reference as though fully set forth herein, and three copies of which
*are on file in the office of the City Clerk, and all of which show the zoning of the above
described property, be and the same are hereby adopted.
Section 3. That the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Edmonds as set forth in
Chapter 12.04 et aeq., of the Edmonds City Code, and specifically the Zoning Code and
Official Map B-1 of said City, be and the same are hereby amended to coliform to said
Resolution No. — I ---- of the Edmonds Planning Commission and Engineer's Drawing
No. — __—zoning said property into use district designated R-8.
Section 4. That the zoning of the real property hereinabove described into use dis-
tricts as outlined in said Resolution and Engineer's map is hereby ratified and confirmed.
Section 5. That the City Engineer of the City of Edmonds is hereby directed to effect
the necessary changes pursuant to this Ordinance.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication accord-
ing to law.
