AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ASSESS-
MENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 108 FOR THE IMPROVE-
MENT OF CERTAIN PROPERTY rN THE CITY OF EDMONDS BY THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF EIGHT AND/OR TEN INCH SEWERS, TOGETHER WITH NECESSARY
LATERALS AND APPURTENANCES NECESSARY TO MAKE A COMPLETE IM-
PROVEMENT; ALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 156
• OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON; LEVYING AN ASSESSMENT OF AC-
COUNT THEREOF AGAINST THE SEVERAL LOTS, TRACTS AND PARCELS OF
LAND AS SHOWN ON SAID ROLL; PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS
THEREFOR, AND FIXING THE DATE OF THE ISSUANCE THEREOF; FIXING THE
INTEREST RATE ON THE BONDS TO BE ISSUED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH,
AND FIXING THE INTEREST RATE ON THE UNPAID ASSESSMENTS IN SAID LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 108.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the assessment and assessment roll of local improve -
meat district No. 108 for the improvement of the following described property:
Beginning at the intersection of the south margin of 224th St. S.W. and
the East margin of U. S. Highway 99; thence east along said south margin to the
west margin of the Pacific Northwest Traction Company right-of-way; thence south-
erly along the west margin of said right-of-way to the southeast corner of Lorr'Al
Terrace No. 4 as recorded in volume 17, page 47, records of Snohomish County,
Washington; thence west to the east margin of Oliver Park as recorded in volume
14, page 75, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence south to the south
margin of 228th St. S.W.; thence east to the west margin of the Pacific Northwest
Traction Co. right-of-way; thence southwesterly along said west margin to the
north margin of Lake Boulevard; thence southerly along the extended west margin
and the west margin of 74th Ave. W. to the west margin of Bradley Road to a point
50. n0 f eet north of the north margin of Lot 17, Block 6, Lake Ballinger Land Comp-
any's Plat Subdi rision No. 1 as recorded in Volume 9, Pages 57 and 58, records of
Snohomish County, Washington; thence west to a point 230.00 feet east of the east
margin of 76th Ave. West; thence south to the North margin of 244th St. S.W.; thence
west along said north margin to the east margin of U.S. Highway 99; thence
northerly along said easj margin to a point 612.44 feet northeasterly of the north
margin of 234th St. S.W. as measured along the east right-of-way of U.S. Highway
99; thence south to a point 325.00 feet north of the north margin of 234th St. S. W.;
thence east 645.00 feet; thence north to the north margin of Tract 18, Lake McAleer's
5 -Acre Tracts as recorded in vol. 5, page 48, records of Snohomish County,
Washington; thence west to the east margin of U.S. Highway 99; thence northerly
along said east margin to the south margin of 224th St. S.W. the point of beginning;

by the installation of a lateral sanitary sewer, together with the apputtenaaces
necessary to make a complete improvement, all in accordance with Resolution of
Intention No. 156 of the City of Edmonds and Ordinance No. 928, as the same now
stands, be and the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land, or other
property shv n on said roll, is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said
improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that the assess-
ment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments ap-
pearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied an assessment against each lot,
tract and parcel of land and other property appearing upon said roll in the amount
finally shown and charged against the same thereon.
Section 3. That the 30th day of August 1963, be and the same is
hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required to be issued on ac-
count of said improvement.
Section 4. That the bonds to be issued in connection with and to pay
the costs of local improvement district No. 108 of the City of Edmonds have been
sold and shall be delivered to Southwick -Campbell Co., Inc., in accordance with
bid submitted therefor on May 15, 1962.
Section 5. That the interest rate on the said bonds in said local
improvement district 108 be and the same is hereby fixed at 4- 3/8 % per annum,
and the interest rate on the unpaid assessments in said local improvement district
108 be and the same is hereby fixed at five (5) per cent per annum.
