AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, MORE SPECIFICALLY OFFICIAL MAP A,
(DESIGNATED THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN) PURSUANT TO REC.'OMMENDA-
TIONS OF THE EDMONDS PLANNING COMMISSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE
ENGINEER TO EFFECT NECESSARY CHANGES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, in accord -
0 ance with law and pursuant to the ordinances of said City, did on the 17th day of
June, 1963, hold a public hearing to determine the advisability of augmr,;.ting
and amending the comprehensive plan of the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, the establishment of Aloha Street (projected) between Seventh
Avenue and Eighth Avenue was considered, and
WHEREAS, after a full and complete hearing, all objections being son-
sidered, the Planning Commission of said City did by Resolution recommend to
the City Council of the City of Edmonds the establishment of Aloha Street be-
tween Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue as being in the best interest of said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF fHE CITY OF EDMONDS
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 78 of the Edmonds City Planning Com-
mission, and Engineer's drawing No. 1.231:26, three copies of which are at -
.ached hereto and incorporated herein and three copies of which are on file in
the office of the City Clerk, are hereby adopted, establishing Aloha Street
between Seventh Avenue and Eighth Avenue.
Section 2_ That the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Edmonds set forth
in Ordinance No. 812 of said City, and Chapter 12.04, et seq., of the Edmonds
• City Code, and specifically official Map A of said City, be and the same are
hereby amended to conform with Engineer's drawing No. 1.231-26 to incorporate
therein Aloha Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues.
Section 3. That the City of Edmond.4 Engineer is hereby directed to effect
the necessary changes pursuant to this Ordinance.
Section. 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and pub-
lication according to law.
