Ordinance 1011ORDINANCE NO. -� :f'LM AENDING OFFICIAL MAP "B" OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS 0 W.';R; rED T11 f: ZONING MAP FOR SAID CITY) TO ABOLISH THE CLASSI- r'h':."I( `: 11-8, NESIDENTIAL) FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY AND REZONE THE :'-A1 r, AS A -6A (MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL), ALL IN ACCORDANCE 1rTiH RESOLUTION NO. 77 OF THE EDMONDS PLANNING COMMISSION. WHEREAS, on May 20, 1963, pursuant to public hearing, the Planning • Commission of the City of Edmonds adopted Resolution No. 77, recommending a change of zoning of the property hereinafter described, and WHF.P.EAS, the rezoning of said property requires an amendment to the Zoning Map of the City of Edmonds, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That zoning snap "B" of the City of Edmonds be and th same is hereby amended as follows: That the following area: Tract 18, Block 5, ALDERWOOD NL'iNOR. NO. 9, according to plat thereof recorded in vol. 10 of plats, page 6, records of Snohomish County, Washington, EXCEPT that part now owned by the City and which includes the property on which the water tank and fire station are located, and that portion dedicated as a street, i:etweev the water tank and fire stations, which exceptions are described as follows: (a) Beginning at the southwest corner of said tract; thence north along the west line thereof 160 feet; thence east 120 feet; thence south 85.76 feet to the north margin of Bowdoin Way, as shown on said plat; thence south- westerly, following the margin of Bowdoin Way, 142 feet more or less to point of beginning; (b) Beginning at the southeast corner of said tract; thence north along the east line thereof 120 feet; thence west 100 feet; thence south 167.23 feet to the north margin of Bowdoin Way; thence north 64043' east along the margin o: Bowdoin Way 110.59 feet to the point of beginning; (c) Beginning at the southeast corner of said Tract 18, thence south 640431 west along the north margin of Bowdoin Way; 110. 59 feet to the true point of beginning, the said point being the southwest corner of • tract deeded to the City of Edmonds on Feb. 19, 1960, thence north and parallel to the east line of said Tract 18, 167.23 feet; thence west 50 feet; thence south and parallel to the east line of said Tract 18, 190.84 feet, more or less, to the north margin of Bowdoin Way; thence north 64043' east along said margin to the true point of beginning, is zoned R -GA (Multiple, Family Residential). Section 2. That Engineer's Drawing No. f,_1'__1_6' _/_J`' showi-- '.he rezoning of said property, three copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as though full- set out herein, and three copies of which are on file in the office of the Edmonds City Clerk, be and the same are hereby adopted. Section 3_ That the above-described area be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-8 (Residential) to R -6A (Multiple Family Residential). is Section 4._ That the City Engineer of the City of Edmonds is hereby directed to effect the necessary changes pursuant to this ordinance. Section 5.
