Ordinance 1021ORDINANCE NO. —le? Z 1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION SIX OF ORDINANCE NO. 1013 (OFFICIAL STREET MAP ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON SEPTEMBER 3, 1963, BY THE ADDITION THERETO AND INCLU- SION THE REIN OF PROVISION FOR A FIFTY FOOT RIGHT OF WAY ON LAUREL STREET FROM TIIIRTEENTH AVENUE EASTERLY TO LAUREL WAY, PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 88 OF THE EDMONDS PLANNING COMMISSION, AND AUTHORIZING THE ENGINEER TO EFFECT NECESSARY CHANGES. • WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds, in accordance with law and pursuant to the ordinances of said City, did on the 16th day of Septem- ber, 1963, hold a public hearing to determine the advisability of augmenting and amending the comprehensive street plan of the City of Edmonds, and WHEREAS, the establishment of a fifty foot right of way on Laurel Street from Thirteenth Avenue easterly to Laurel Way was considered, and WHEREAS, after a full and complete hearing, all objections being considered, the Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds did by Resolution No. 88 recommend to the City Council of the City of Edmonds the establishment of said fifty foot right of way as being in the best interest of said City, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF IHE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1_ That section 6 of Ordinance No. 1013 (official street map ordi- nance) passed by the City Council of the City of Edmonds on September 3, 1963, be and the same is hereby amended to include thereunder the establishment of a fifty foot right of way on Laurel Street from 13th Avenue Easterly to Laurel Way, Pursuant to Resolution No. 88 of the Edmonds Planning Commission. Section 2. That section 6 of Ordinance No. 1013 as aforesaid be and the same is hereby set forth a., amended: • SECTION 6. STREET CLASSIFICATION STANDARDS The dimensions, size, location, area and standards for the classi- fication of streets (and other areas of land for future contemplated public land development,) are as shown in the comprehens; -e plan dated May, 1963, prepared by Clark, Coleman and Rupeiks, Inc., and adopted as the official Comprehensive Pian for the City of Edmonds by Resolution No. 85 of said City, passed by the City Council on July 23, 1963; PROVIDED, that this plan shall not apply to that portion of 76th At' e. W. lying between Highway 99 and 244th St. S.W.; and PROVIDED, further, that there shall be added thereto a fifty foot right of way on Laurel Street from Thirteenth Avenue easterly to Laurel Way, pursuant to Resolution No. 88 of the Edmonds Planning Commission. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be fully in force and effectiv a from and after its passage and publication according t law.
