AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND
ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 114 FOR
THE IMPROVEMENT OF PINE STREET', IN THE CITY OF EDMONDS, FROM
SIXTH AVENUE TO SEVENTH AVENUE, BY INSTALLING STANDARD CURBS
AND GUTTERS AND BY PAVING WITH ASPHALTIC TYPE CONCRETE, AND
DOING ANY NECESSARY GRADING OR BASE PREPARATION AND RELATED
WORK NECESSARY TO MAKE A COMPLETE "VIPROVEMENT IN ACCORDANC
WITH CITY STANDARDS, ALL IN ACCORDAINCE WITH RESOLUTION OF IN-
TENTION NO. 163 OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON; LEVYING AN
ASSESSMENT ON ACCOUNT THEREOF AGAINST THE SEVERAL LOTS, TRACTS
AND PARCELS OF LAND AS SHOWN ON SAID ROLL; PROVIDING FOR THE
ISSUANCE OF BONDS THEREFOR, AND FIXING THE DATE OF THE ISSUANCE
THEREOF; FIXING THE INTEREST RATE ON THE BONDS TO BE ISSUED IN
CONNECTION THEREWITH, AND FIXING THE INTEREST RATE ON THE UN-
PAID ASSrSSMENTS IN SAID LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 114.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
;vection 1. That the assessment and assessment roll of local improve-
ment District No. 114 for the improvement of the following described property:
Beginning on the West margin of 7th Avenue, 60.00 feet South of
the N. E. corner of Lot 3, Block 5, YOST'S FIRST ADDITION to Edmonds, as
recorded in Volume 8, page 6, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence
North to the North margin of Pine Street; thence East to the West margin of 7th
Ave.; thence North 105. 00 feet; thence East 10. 00 feet; thence North 71. 00 feet;
thence West to the East margin of 6th Axe. (formerly 6-1/2 Street);thence South
44. 00 feet; thence West to the West margin of 6th Ave.; thence West 115.00 feet;
thence South to the North margin of Pine St.; thence South to the intersection of the
south margin of Pine Street and the East margin of 6th Ave.; thence South to a point
60. 00 feet South of the N.W. vorner of Lot 8, Block 6, YOST'S FIRST ADDITION to
Edmonds; thence East to the Point of Beginning, Snohomish Counq, Washington.
by the installation of standard curbs and gutters and by paving with asphaltic
type concrete, and any necessary grading or base preparation and related wcrk
necessary to make a complete improvement in accordance with City standards,
all in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 163 of the City of Edmonds and
Ordinance No. 936, as the same now stands, be and the same is hereby in all
• things approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land, or other
property shown on said roll, is hereby declared to be specially benefited by
said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that
the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several as-
sessments appearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied an assessment
against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property appearing upon
said roll in the aniount finally shown and charged against the same thereon.
Section 3. That the 1st ciay of February, 1964, be and the
same is hereby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required to be
issued on account of said improvement.
Section 4. That the bonds to be issued in connection with and to
pay the costs of local improvement District No. 114 of the City of Edmonds
will be sold locally.
Section 5. That the interest rate on the said bonds in said local
improvement district No. 114 be and the same is hereby fixed at 5 % per
annum, and the interest rate on the unpaid assessments in said local improve-
ment dis+rict No. 114 be and the same is hereby fixed at 616 per annum.
