AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND
ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 118 FOR
THE IMPROVEMENT OF "A" STREET, IN THE CITY OF EDMONDS, FROM
ELM STREET TO FIR STREET, BY INSTALLING STANDARD CURBS AND
GUTTERS AND BY PAVING WITH ASPHALTIC TYPE CONCRETE, AND ANY
NECESSARY GRADING OR BASE PREPARATION AND RELATED WORK
NECESSARY TO MAKE A COMPLETE IMPROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE
WITH CITY STANDARDS; ALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF
• INTENTION NO. 166 OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON; LEVYING
AN ASSESSMENT ON ACCOUNT THEREOF AGAINST THE SEVERAL LOTS,
TRACTS AND PARCELS OF LAND AS SHOWN ON SAID ROLL; PROVIDING
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS THEREFOR, AND FIXING THE DATE OF THE
ISSUANCE THEREOF; FIXING THE INTEREST RATE ON THE BONDS TO BE
ISSUED IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, AND FIXING THE INTEREST RATE
ON THE UNPAID ASSESSMENTS IN SAID LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 118.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the assessment and assessment roll of local im-
provement District No. 118 for the improvement of the following described
property:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Elm Street
and center line of "A" Street, thence east 165 feet; thence
north to the center line of Fir Street; thence west 328 f eet:
thence south to the center line of Elm Street; thence east to
the point of beginning, situate in Snohomish County, Washington.
by installing standard curbs and gutters and by paving with asphaltic type
concrete, together with any necessary grading or base preparation and re-
lated work necessary to make a complete improvement in accordance with
City standards, all in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 166 of
the City of Edmonds and Ordinance No. 989, as the same now stands, be and
the same is hereby in all things approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land, or
• other property shown on said roll, is hereby declared to be specially benefited
by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same, and that
the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several
assessments appearing upon said roll, and there is hereby levied an assess-
ment against each lot, tract and parcel of land and other property appearing
upon said roll in the amount finally shown and charged against the same thereon.
Section 3. That the 1st day of February, 1964, be and the
same is hei oby fixed as the date of the issuance of the bonds required to
be issued on account of said improvement.
Section 4. That the bonds to be issued in connection with and
is to pay the costs of local improvements District No. 118 of the City of
Edmonds will be sold locally.
Section 5. That the interest rate on the said bonds in said local
improvement district No. 118 be and the same is hereby fixed at 516 per
annum, and the interest rate on the unpaid assessments in said local im-
provement district No. 118 be and the same is hereby fixed at 6% per annum.
