Ordinance 1310ORDINANCE NO. 13 ZO AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAPS OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON BY AMENDING SECTION 12.03.065 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE BY PROPOSING WIDENING OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF EIGHTH AVENUE, 19 5 TH PLACE SOUTHWEST, HINDLEY LANE AND MELODY LANE, PURSUANT TO PLANNING. COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 228 WHEREAS, the public hearing before the City Council of Planning Commission Resolution No. 228, recommending the amendment of the official street maps of the City of Edmonds by establishing rights of way on certain streets as provided below, and WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future neighboring streets and general traffic conditions and the general welfare of the public, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DO::.: ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Edmonds City Code, Section 12.03.065 is hereby amended by the addition of a new subsection establish- ing the following designated streets for increased right-of-way on the official street maps of said city, said subsection providing as follows: "h. 8th Avenue sixty feet wide from Daley to 100 .feet north of Brookmere Drive; 8th Avenue forty-two feet wide from 100 feet north of Brookmere Drive to Melody Lane; 8th Avenue forty feet wide from 196th Avenue to 195th Place S.W.; 195th Place S.W. forty feet wide from 8th Avenue to 9th Avenue; Hindley Lane fifty feet wide from 8th Avenue to 9th Avenue; and Melody Lane forty feet wide from 8th Avenue west a distance of approximately 417 feet; all as projected on Engineer's Drawing No. E-C-121." Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Edmonds is hereby directed to effectuate the necessary changes pursuant to this ordinance.
