Ordinance 1379AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS AMENDING THE OFFICIAL
ZONING MAP, EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, BY CHANGING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO DUPLEX (RD) AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT RELATING
THERETO.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing having been called
by the City Council in accordance with planning Commission
Resolution No. 271, and said City Council having determined
that duplex zoning would be the most consistent and advan-
tageous for the development and appropriate use of said
property and for the health, safety, morals and general
welfare of the public, provided that the applicant satisfy
certain additional limitations suggested by the applicant
by contract; now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map, Edmonds, Washington,
be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning
classification of the following described property to Duplex
(RD), all situate in the City of Edmonds, County of Snohomish,
State of Washington:
Lot 1 and the South 15 feet of Lot 2, Block 11,
Plat of Edmonds, according to the recorded Plat
thereof, records of Snohomish County, Washington.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed to
effectuate the necessary amendments to the Official Zoning
Map of Edmondsi Washington, pursuant to this Ordinance.
Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute
that Contract proferred by S. L. Saindon (owner) to said
city and the City Clerk is authorized attest to said exe-
cution and record the same with the County Auditor.
