AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
SUPPLEMENTING THE EDMONDS COMPREHENSIVE LAND
USE PLAN BY ADDING THERETO CERTAIN AREAS OF
WATER AND SUBMERGED LAND LYING GENERALLY WEST
OF THE EXISTING CITY LIMITS BETWEEN THE SHORELINE
AND THE CENTER OF PUGET SOUND AND DESIGNATING
THE SAME AS "AQUATIC RECREATION" ALL IN ACCORD-
ANCE WITH PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 339.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing and notice the
Planning Commission of the City of Edmonds adopted Resolu-
tion No. 339 recommending the supplementation to the
Edmonds Comprehensive Land Use Plan, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds
pursuant to said Planning Commission Resolution No. 339,
having called a public hearing, and thereat having deter-
mined that the Comprehensive Land Use Plan should accord-
ingly be amended for the property legally described
below, said supplementation being within the purview of
the existing documentation of said Edmonds Comprehensive
Land Use Plan, and the general intent of the zoning
contemplated to be applicable to said area being expressed
in an ordinance brought before the City Council creating
a Marine Resource classification of the Edmonds Zoning
Code, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Land Use Plan of the
Edmonds Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended and supplemented
by adding thereto the following described property under
the planning designation "Aquatic Recreation":
The area designated "Aquatic Recreation" shall
be bounded on four sides by lines generally
described as follows:

east boundary - the Inner Harbor line, shore
line, or west City limit line of Edmonds.
south boundarv- an east -west line parallel to
the Snohomish -King County line and passing
through the south edge of the Edmond's
Marina.
west boundary - The Snohomish-Kitsap and the
Snohomish -Island County line.
north boundary- an east -west line parallel to
the Snohomish -King County line and passing
through the northerly most point of the
City of Edmonds.
Section 2. The City Planner of the City of Edmonds
is hereby directed to effectuate the necessary amendment
and supplementation to said Comprehensive Land Use Plan
of the Edmonds Comprehensive Plan pursuant to this
Ordinance.
Section 3. The City Clerk and the Planning Depart-
ment of the City of Edmonds shall maintain copies of the
supplement to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and there
shall be forwarded a certified copy of this ordinance
and the supplement to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan to
the County Auditor for the County of Snohomish who shall
record the ordinance and keep on file a copy of said
supplement to said plan.
