Ordinance 1972ORDINANCE NO. 1972 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY SEC- TION 12.03.080 OF THE EDMONDS CITY CODE BY REDUCING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY ON JAMES STREET FROM THIRD AVENUE SOUTH WESTERLY TO THE ALLEY FROM SIXTY (60) FEET TO FORTY-FIVE (45) FEET. WHEREAS, pursuant to the Planning Commission Resolution No. 578, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington, called a public hearing regarding the reduction of the pro- posed right-of-way on James Street from Third Avenue South Westerly to the alley from 60 feet to 45 feet, and WHEREAS, after due consideration of existing and future neighborhood and traffic conditions, the City Council finds the proposed amendment to be in the best interest of the general health, safety and welfare of the public and further finds in conformance with the Community Development Department's recommendation that there are no significant adverse environ- mental impacts all in accordance with Planning Commission Resolution No. 578, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Official Street Map adopted by Section 12.03.080 of the Edmonds City Code, as amended, is hereby fur- ther amended by reducing the proposed right-of-way on James Street from Third Avenue South Westerly to the alley, from ac 60 feet to 45 feet, as set forth on Exhibit "A", a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated in full by this reference and by amending Sheet 7, Section 23 of Engineer's drawing No. 1.559 to conform with Exhibit "A". Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to amend Reid, Middleton & Associates Drawing No. 1.599, Sheet 7, Section 23 to depict the revisions as set forth in Section 1 hereinabove.
