AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 12.13.150(3)(a) TO ESTABLISH
REQUIREMENTS FOR MIXED RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS
USES IN THE BN ZONE; AMENDING SECTIONS 12.13.190(a)(2)
AND 12.13.230(H)(2) TO ESTABLISH RESIDENTIAL
DENSITY FOR MIXED OCCUPANCY BUILDINGS IN THE BC
AND CW ZONES; AND REPEALING SECTIONS 12.13.190(a)(3)
AND 12.13.230(H)(3), ALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH PLANNNING
COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 594.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Planning Commission Resolution
No. 594, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Washington,
called a public hearing and during this hearing having
determined it to be in the best interest of the public
health, safety and general welfare to amend the Edmonds City
Code as set forth below and having determined that there
will be no significant adverse environmental impacts, all in
accordance with Planning Commission Resolution No. 594, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 12.13.150(3)(a) of the Edmonds
City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(a) One unit per lot is permitted; provided,
however, each lot shall contain at least 6000
square feet.
Section 2. Section 12.13.090(a)(2) of the Edmonds
City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
112. Residential density shall not exceed the
density established for RMH zones as set forth in
Section 12.13.130(g) of the Edmonds City Code."
Section 3. Section 12.13.230(H)(2) of the Edmonds
City Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2. Residential density shall not exceed the
density established for RMH zones as set forth in
Section 12.13.130(8) of the Edmonds City Code."
Section 4. Sections 12.13.190 (a) (3) and 12.13.230 (H) (3)
of the Edmonds City Code are hereby repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect five days after passage and publication by posting
as provided by law.
