ORDINANCE NO. 2 - 5
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
THE PROVISIONS OF THE EDMONDS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CODE f
15.00.020 BY REPEAL OF SUBPARAGRAPH B(11) AND THE ADOPTION
OF A NEW PARAGRAPH C(5), BOTH DEALING WITH BUILDING PERMIT
FEES, TO SET SUCH FEES AT NINETY PERCENT (aO%) OF THE LEVEL
ESTABLISHED BY SECTION 304 OF THE UNIFORM BUILDING CODE OF
1985; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND SETTING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DO
ORDAIN AS rOLLOWS:
Section 1. Subparagraph ECDC 15.00.020(B)(11) relating to
building permit fees is hereby repealed and in its place enacted
new subparagraph (C)(5) to read as follows:

(5) Permit fees are hereby established
at ninety percent (90%) of the :eve!

Uniform Building Code of 1985 ana
its Table 3A.
Secti,.n 2. If any secti- sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance would be held to be invalid or unconstitutional
by a court Lf c-mpetent jurisdiction, such invalidity or
unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitu-
tionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase of
this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance, being an exercise of a powe-
specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take Pffect five (5' days after
passage a publication of the attached summar; which is hereby
approved.
