ORDINANCE NO. 2688
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF ECC 8.48.330 TO
INCREASE THE MONTHLY FEE FOR SPACES IN THE FERRY
PARKING LOT TO $20.00 PER MONTH, PROVIDING FOR
PREPAID FEES AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The provisions of section 8.48.33Q of the
Edmonds City Code Monthly Parking Permits are hereby amended to
read as follows:
8.48.330 MONTHLY PARKING PERMITS.
Monthly parking permits shall be obtained from the city
clerk upon payment of the applicable fee. The fee for
monthly parking in the ferry parking lot shall be
twenty dollars ($20.00) per space. The monthly fee for
all other lots shall be thirty-five dollars ($35.00)
per space. The permit shall contain a permit number
and an expiration date. When issued by the city clerk,
the monthly parking permit shall authorize a vehicle to
park in a pay parking lot for a thirty (30) day period,
ending on the expiration date set forth on the permit.
Section 2. The fee increase for the ferry parking lot
shall be effective with respect to all permits expiring on or
after December 31, 1988. Prepaid permits shall remain in effect
until the date of expiration shown thereon.

Section 3. This ordinance, being an administrative
action, is not subject to referendum and shall take effect five
(5) days after this ordinance or a summary thereof consisting of
the title is published.
