ORDINANCE NO. 2812
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF 8.64.030 RELATING TO
THE SCHEDULE OF STREETS IN WHICH PARKING IS
PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES TO EXPAND THE SECTION OF
220TH S.W. ON WHICH PARKING IS PROHIBITED TO
INCLUDE ALL THE AREA FROM THE EASTERN CITY
LIMITS TO 77TH AVENUE WEST, AND FIXING A TIME
WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, 220th S.W. is a major thoroughfare within the
City of Edmonds and parking has been prohibited by ordinance on
the section of 220th S.W. from Highway 99 to 77th Place West; and
WHEREAS, the same traffic considerations exist on that
portion of 220th S.W. east of Highway 99 to the eastern city
limits of the City of Edmonds; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Edmonds City Code Section 8.64.030
SCHEDULE III - PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS
(13) relating to 220th S.W. to read as follows:
8.64.030 SCHEDULE III - PARKING PROHIBITED
AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS
13. 220th Street S.W., on both sides, from
the eastern city limits of the City of
Edmonds to 77th Avenue West.
Section 2. This ordinance, being an exercise of a
power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not

subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after
passage and publication of the ordinance or a summary thereof
consisting of the title.
