ORDINANCE NO. 2924
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, ADDING A NEW SECTION TO EDMONDS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CODE CHAPTER 21.25, "E"
TERM; AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL
BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds is a noncharter code city
organized and existing under the provisions of Title 35A of the
Revised Code of Washington, and
WHEREAS, the City Council formerly enacted Edmonds
Community Development Code (ECDC) Chapter 21.25, "E" Term, and the
City Council now desires to add a new section to that chapter,
Section 21.25.010 "Easement," NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new section is hereby added to ECDC Chapter
21.25 to read as follows:
21.25.0.10 EASEMENT
Land which has specific air, surface, or
subsurface rights conveyed for use by an
entity other than the owner of the subject
property or to benefit some property other
than the subject property.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, sentence,
clause or phrase of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or
unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such
invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or

constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an
administrative action, is not subject to referendum and shall take
effect five (5) days after publication.
