ORDINANCE NO. 2926
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, ADDING A NEW CHAPTER TO EDMONDS
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CODE TITLE 21,
DEFINITIONS; AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds is a noncharter code city
organized and existing under the. provisions of Title 35A of the
Revised Code of Washington, and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to add a new
chapter to Title 21 of the Edmonds Community Development Code
(ECDC), Chapter 21.110, "V" Terms, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A new chapter is hereby added to ECDC Title
21 to read as follows:
CHAPTER 21.110
"V" TERMS
21.110.010 VACATION
A statutory procedure by which the City may
relinquish its interest in streets, alleys, or
easements.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, sentence,
clause or phrase of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or
unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, such
invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or

constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective bate. This ordinance, being an
administrative action, is not subject to. referendum and shall take
effect five (5) days after publication.
