AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
15.00.020.C.9 RELATING FOR THE FEES FOR STREET
USE PERMITS, SECTION 18.70.060 FEES RELATING
TO STREET USE PERMIT RENEWAL IN ORDER TO
ESTABLISH A THREE YEAR PERMIT LIFE AND FIXING
A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City has required annual renewal of street
use permits for continuing uses and structures located within the
public rights -of -way, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the public
interest to extend the review process to a three year review, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 15.00.020.0.9 of the Edmonds
Community Development Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
15.00.020 Application Fees.
C. Building Division
9. Street Use Permit: fifty
dollars ($50.00) per permit.
Renewals on a three (3) year
review cycle twenty dollars
($20.00) per renewal.

Section 2. Edmonds Community Development Code Section
18.70.060 FEES is hereby amended to read as follows:
Application fees for street use permits are
set forth in Chapter 15.00. Application fees
for street use permits shall be paid to the
City prior to issuance of any street use
permit. Renewals of street use permit for the
maintenance of any continuing use or structure
in the public right -of -way shall be reviewed
on a three (3) year cycle in accordance with
rules established by the Community Services
Director.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an
administrative action, is not subject to referendum and shall take
effect five (5) days after publication.
