KCH/klt 04/11/89 R:4/11/89 NO. 2708 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING EDMONDS CITY CODE SECTION 8.64.065 IN ORDER TO LIMIT PARKING TO THREE (3) HOURS ON THIRD AVENUE SOUTH ON BOTH SIDES FROM DAYTON TO ALDER, ON ALDER STREET ON BOTH SIDES FROM THIRD AVENUE SOUTH TO SECOND AVENUE SOUTH, ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF DAYTON STREET FROM THIRD AVENUE SOUTH TO SECOND AVENUE SOUTH, EFFECTIVE FROM 6:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, AND LIMITING TO ONE-HALF HOUR PARKING ON THE THREE SPACES IMMEDIATELY EAST OF THE PUBLIC WORKS SHOP DRIVEWAY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF DAYTON, WEST OF SECOND AVENUE SOUTH, ALSO EFFECTIVE FROM 6:00 A.M. TO 6:00 P.M., MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Edmonds Municipal Code Section 8.64.065 is hereby amended to read as follows: 8.64.065 SCHEDULE VI -A - PARKING TIME LIMITED FOR CERTAIN PERIODS OF TIME ON CERTAIN STREETS. In accordance with Section 8.48.155 and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle for the period of time longer than the number of hours set forth below, or between the hours set forth below: NAME OF STREET OR ROAD HOURS - STOPPED, STANDING OR PARKING PROHIBITED 1. Sunset Beach access -way Four hours maximum at any and Sunset Beach Park one time. 2. Alder Street, on both sides, from Third Avenue South to Second Avenue South parking time set forth in this subsection by appro- priate motion and upon erection of appropriate signs. Four hours maximum at any one time. Two hour parking from six p.m. on Friday to midnight on Sunday, and from six p.m. on those days immedi- ately preceding public holidays to midnight on said public holidays. Four hour parking, eight a.m. to ten p.m. No parking from ten p.m. to eight a.m. Four hours maximum at any one time. Five minute parking from eight a.m. to six p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Two hours maximum between the hours of eight a.m. and dusk.* No parking between dusk and eight a.m. Three hours maximum between the hours of six a.m. to six p.m., Monday through Friday.
