ORDINANCE NO. 2727
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 4 BY THE REPEAL
OF CHAPTER 4.10 TOW TRUCK OPERATIONS --
REGULATIONS IN ITS ENTIRETY AND FIXING A TIME
WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the State legislature has recently enacted a
more comprehensive scheme of regulation relating to tow truck
operators, and
WHEREAS, on the recommendations of the City's Police
Chief, the City Council finds that such enactments have rendered
the existing City licensing provisions to be redundant and
unnecessary, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 4.10 Tow Truck Operations
Regulations is hereby repealed.
Section 2. This ordinance, being an exercise of a
power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after

passage and publication of the ordinance or a summary thereof
consisting of the title.
