ORDINANCE NO. 2752
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
ADDING SECTIONS 5.14.050 AND 5.28.030 TO THE
EDMONDS CITY CODE TO ADOPT THE STATE STATUTES BY
REFERENCE GOVERNING THE POSSESSION OF STEROIDS
AND DEFRAUDING A PUBLIC UTILITY; CONTAINING A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND SETTING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Edmonds City Council finds that the state
statutes prohibiting the possession of steroids and defrauding a
public utility should be adopted by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Edmonds City Council finds that this
ordinance is in the interest of the public health, safety and
welfare, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. There is hereby added a new section
5.14.050 to the Edmonds City Code to read as follows:
5.14.050 Steroids.
The following statutes of the State of
Washington, including all future amendments,
are adopted by reference as if set forth in
full herein:

Section 2. There is hereby added a new section
5.28.030 to the Edmonds City Code to read as follows:

Restitution and Costs
Section 3. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional
by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or
unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of any other section, sentence, clause or phrase
of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance, being an exercise of a
power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after
passage and publication of the ordinance or a summary thereof
consisting of the title.
