ORDINANCE NO. 2756
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING TITLE 8.48 OF THE EDMONDS MUNICIPAL
CODE TO PERMIT PARKING AT THE "FOURTH AVENUE"
LOT AT A MONTHLY FEE OF TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS
($25.00), AND ESTABLISHING A DATE WHEN THE SAME
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 8.48.330 of the Edmonds Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
8.48.330 MONTHLY PARKING PERMITS. Monthly
parking permits shall be obtained from the
city clerk upon payment of the applicable
fee. The fee for monthly parking in the
ferry parking lot shall be twenty dollars
($20.00) per space. The monthly fee for the
public parking lot located near the
intersection of Fifth Avenue and Dayton and
known as the "Fifth Avenue" lot and the
public parking lot located near the inter-
section of 4th Avenue and Main Street known
as the "Fourth Avenue" lot shall be twenty-
five dollars ($25.00) per space. The monthly
fee for all other lots shall be thirty-five
dollars ($35.00) per space. The permit shall
contain a permit number and the expiration
date, when issued by the city clerk. The
monthly parking permit shall authorize a
vehicle to park in a pay parking lot for a
thirty (30) day period, ending on the
expiration date set forth on the permit.
Section 2. This ordinance, being an exercise of a
power specifically delegated to the city legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after

passage and publication of the ordinance or a summary thereof
consisting of the title.
