ORDINANCE NO. 2758
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP TO REMOVE THE
UNBUILT RIGHT-OF-WAY OF A CUL DE SAC AT THE WEST
TERMINUS OF 231ST STREET S.W. AND FIXING A TIME
WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, this Council has received and considered the
findings and recommendations of its Hearing Examiner as well as
the testimony adduced at a hearing before the City Council on
January 30, 1990, and based thereon the City Council adopts the
findings and recommendations of the Hearing Examiner as its
findings and conclusions and based thereon determines that the
proposed right-of-way of 231st Street S.W. at its western
terminus is no longer consistent with the City's comprehensive
plan, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the plan lined right-of-way at the
westerly terminus of 231st Street S.W., being an unbuilt cul de
sac, shown and legally described on the attached Exhibit A,
incorporated by this reference as fully as if herein set forth,
is hereby removed from the official street map and comprehensive
plan.
Section 2. The Community Services Director or his
designee is hereby instructed to amend the comprehensive street
plan to reflect the change and dedication.

Section 3. This ordinance, being an exercise of a
power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after
its passage and publication.
